Responsibilities:
The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Aga Khan University is looking for an exceptional Administrative Coordinator to provide efficient and effective support for Student Recruitment. You will play a key role in upholding and promoting our vision, values and culture both within and outside the Faculty. Flexibility and commitment will be amongst your key attributes. You must also possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills and be able to exercise discretion and diplomacy at all times. You must be able to produce a range of reports and documents that reflect our leading quality brand.
You must be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to be flexible in many different situations.
Your will be responsible for:
monitoring all student recruitment activities to ensure that all targets
are reached and that the overall recruitment process is completed in accordance with agreed timescales
working closely with colleagues in other AKU central support departments as part of the recruitment process
maintaining all required records to ensure that the activities of FAS student office are recorded
organising the Faculty recruitment schedule
proactively developing and maintaining effective relationships with national and international secondary schools
working closely with the FAS and other support departments to manage candidate interviews and carry out FAS level surveys to monitor success
sustaining a level of professionalism among staff
undertake any other tasks as may be reasonably required by the Dean

Essential Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 – 3 years of experience
High level of competency with word processors, spreadsheets and databases (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook mail and calendars, Oracle databases in particular)
Desirable Skills:
Prior experience working in an academic department with a large undergraduate program
